Session 1: Bus Stop

Anthony tilts his head and scratches it a little.

"I remember hearing something about that on an old science show. But they had only managed to hide a soda can or something. 'Course, it was I was, what? Seven or Nine when it aired?"

"This not out of character for them. They seem to have tech that is outside what most people would consider possible."
Ceffer muses out loud.
"When you get right down to it there are several supers capable of creating outlandish Gadgets. And I would be able to chalk it up to that if they had not been operating for over 70 years."
Ceffer Pauses until he sure that he got everyone's attention with that statement.

Anthony turns toward Ceffer.

"Wait, how would you explain it then?"

"70 years?" Pearl turns to Ceffer curiously.

"How is they are doing it is not as important as why. The how could be explained by not using metal components, magnetic resonance to manipulate the light, or micro black holes to distort the light. It really does not matter for our purposes. Who they are is more the question. From my not entirely unbiased investigations I have found evidence for an organization that is systematically attempting to create super soldiers, Übermensch, Demigods, or the like for almost a century if not more. I first encountered them while I was in the middle east with the army when I encountered some truly freakish Supers. Some of whom claimed to be over 40 years old. I started investigating but ran into conflicts with my superior officers and decided to leave the army.
Since then I have been investigating leads doing odd jobs until my mother was hospitalized in a mugging gone bad. Shortly after the Super Oversight Bureau told me I could not go around flaunting powers in public.
I believe that they have had ties with with both the Nazi, Russian, and American Human experimentation projects. Evidence for this is sketchy at best. However, They exist and have been creating monsters for the last 50 years as far I can tell. Up to this point they have not had any success creating stable Powers. As far as I know. The operate as puppet masters making other people do their dirty work. Assuming that they are they same people and I have not been chasing phantoms this entire time."
Ceffer Expounds,
"They have several ties to various political officers and should not be underestimated. Several times my investigations turned in the X-Files with all the evidence vanishing before I could follow the lead."
The electronic in the room flicker.

"I don't have any. I just know the right people to get things done. Specifically I have a friend who lent me a cloaking device. They wish to remain private so I have not revealed their identity."
Ceffer Asserts firmly.
"No one ever believes me."

"Before we continue I would like to look over this contract. Does it include family benefits? Would it be possible to get my mother off life support? Are we paid on the GS or are we directly employed by your company? What type of annual salary should we expect? I am not joining until I have gone over a contract, and signed it."
Ceffer shrugs apologetic.
"I would also suggest Psyc profiles and background checks for all of us as a standard precaution."
