Session 1: Bus Stop

Ceffer Hawk walks slowly in with a lollipop in his mouth. He Carefully surveys the room for signs of an ambush. In his coat pocket are enough various high calorie treats to put most people into a diabetic coma. He is dressed in something that appears to be standard motorcycle gear much like he was yesterday. After a moment of surveying the room he burst out laughing, and gets a amused smirk on his face.

"Hey! What are you laughing about?"

Anthony walks in, pulls out two chairs, and takes a seat. He is wearing a casual suit. He looks quite tired as if he is just recovering from a bout of insomnia. Nonetheless, he has a tired grin on his face.

Pearl comes in and sits by Anthony. She is wearing lightweight casual, the sort of outfit you'd throw a coat over and go walking in. She doesn't look anyone in the eye as she sits down and grumbles, "I don't know what was so important..."

"Timing and answered prayers."
Ceffer cryptically replies while eating more candy and a granola bar. Without leaving any crumbs or wrappers anywhere. He tips a bottle of Orange Juice high pulp,  "Sorry I have a high metabolic rate and I have no idea how long this meeting is going to take."

Mr. Smith just sits quietly in the corner. Observing every thing but not saying anything.

In response to the cowboy's snacking, Anthony pulls out a small package of pistachios and starts eating them while he isn't talking.

"About the other day," *snap* "I just wanted to say I'm sorry about ramming you. I had no idea what was going on and I just flew with it." *crunch*

"I know. That is why you must assess situations before you rushing in."
Ceffer looks around the room finishing his orange juice.
"Hmm.... Why do I get the feeling that I have been called into the principles office?"

Rook is dressed in a red tee shirt with the black pants from his gi. He seems to have neglected footwear.
I pad silently to the water cooler to pour himself a glass. The chatter in the room is tuned out as I walk back to the door.
This better not take too long, I have a class to teach.
I grumble and lean on the wall, next to the door stop, and sip on my water.

"Don't worry, I think I hear him coming." She looks towards the door.

Pearl's expression seems to thaw a little when the children appear.

Rook is entirely different in front of the kids. Suddenly energetic and smiling.
You guys made this? No way! This is so cool! Hey can someone take our picture with the kids and the banner. Hey kids, pay attention...
I raise my empty hand towards the teacher, and a cellphone out of nowhere.

The teacher takes the phone and the kids gather into picture formation. Any "heroes" who want to join in are welcome, otherwise your identities are yours to keep secret.
"All right pack in close and say CHEESE!"
"1..2..3.."
CHEESE!

I start to get up to join the picture, but Dr. Wells expresses his disapproval with a quick shake of his head. I sit back down.

Once I'm sure the kids are out of sight, I turn around, my face grim. My frown deepens as I recognize one of the pictures.
Now that explains why she hasn't been to class. Where do I sign up? I've a three students good enough to work the others on basics for a couple classes. Otherwise I can close the dojo if this is gonna take more than a week.

Pearl rubs her temples for a moment. So that's why I got that slight headache. "That could have just as easily been my sister that they took, so if I have to I'll quit my job to help stop these punks and get those kids back. Did you issue an amber alert for them?"

Anthony stands up and puts his hands down on the table in anger at the kidnappers.

I'm in. I don't care if I have to go through a few more sleepless nights, but I'm in.

I'm in I'm new to town but I will help when I can. Don't like people who attack kids. Mr. Smiths Said quietly.
Besides I need something to do while I wait for classes to start.
