Session 14&15: Let's Not Do the Time warp again.

"Types I, IV,VI, VII, and VIII. Item of note Types III to VI are all similar just variations of generation power. A Type III does not possess the regeneration abilities of their predecessors. All of these Types detest garlic and cannot cross water. They do not have reflections and have a thirst for human blood. Can shape shift into Bats and Wolfs. The older the Vampire the more its powers grows. There are only eight Type VII vampires and they Possess many magical abilities."
Ceffer starts explaining.

"Do they also have a knack for dodging lightning bolts?" Ember asks without taking her eyes off her notes. She pauses a moment and looks sideways at the paper, then spins it upside down and continues.

"You are really taking that personally. From what I was able to observe it physical traits are on par with a medium level Brick and a low level acrobat type super. You should train with Tonfa Dancer, SkateBlade and Ricochet they do it with bullets. They do know some techniques for fight evasive opponents."
Ceffer grins.
"Good question. Fire is the best way to ensure that they stay down and don't come back. Driving a stake into their hearts and behead them. They can also turn intangible. And of course Suck your blood. Type I are mixture of Werewolf and Type III or IV and they lack the ability to turn intangible but have the ability to regenerate. They are also infectious and are vulnerable to both Silver and Garlic. Type II are improper Type III and are driven to a near mindless state while they consume human flesh. They are more easily killed and require no special treatment but just to be sure treat them as a Type III in preventable measure."
Ceffer explains.

"Of coarse."
Ceffer continues with the lecture answering questions as he goes.

Ember begins to wonder if she can go now, idly warping her glass into itself over and over and over...

"Thank you for your time. Is there anything else Dr. Wells?
Ceffer sways at the end of his Lecture.

Ember leaves with a brisk pace, still warping the glass in her hand.

Pearl gives Gertrude another friendly hug. "If you need anything, let me know and I'll arrange it for you if I can."

On the way out, Tony asks something that was on his mind.

"Earlier you mentioned there were supers before, do you suppose they could be responsible for the majority of the Greek myths?"

"Probably. Dr. Wells if there is anything you need I will be be in my room."
Ceffer sticks a bunch non perishables in his locker, then heads to his room.

Ember bugs the secretary at the front desk until he gives her the latest weekly directory, and she uses it to look up the locations of Tonfa Dancer and Ricochet. She then proceeds to the paintball arena.

The paintball arena is a large section of woods set aside for extreme supers' paintballing, similar to the capture the flag arena. The trees are kept thicker there than other places, and there are more shallow caves and boulder formations than in other areas. The paint pellets come in fourteen different colors, cycled through every two weeks. The paint formula is ten day biodegradable.

Currently, Ricochet is team dueling with a pre-cog against a were-German-shepherd and the probability manipulator from B Team. Ember is in no mood to run out there and get hit in the face with half a dozen paint pellets at once, so (after grabbing a few cupcakes from her sister-in-law's bakery) she waits for them to finish at the equipment station.

Most of an hour later, Ricochet and his friends disembark from training, each one pinged at least once by the other team. Ember offers them all a cupcake after they've changed. She singles out Ricochet. "I heard tell that you were the best ranged feint master in all of Wells Hills. Do you think you could teach me what you do for what I do with fireballs and lightning?" There is a small candle on his cupcake. It lights.

"Huh? Are you trying to snipe? What is your range?"
Ricochet asks confused.
"What are you trying to achieve?"

Ember tells him about the dodging vampire on their way to the Dojo. Once there, she demonstrates a wide range of her abilities including long and shorter ranged fireballs and lightning bolts. Her maximum effective range with either is about 300 ft, being most effective at 29 ft or closer. Her goal is not so much sniping as being able to hit an opponent who dodges ridiculously fast. "Though being able to snipe something would be a very useful skill indeed."

"That Vampire thing sounds scary. If you want to get better at sniping you should get your range up. However... How good are you at controlling your power output? I may have a training idea. I really like your facilities here."
He pulls out a phones that looks like a Star Trek communicator.
"Hey Dancer, Skates I have some new meat."

Tony goes off and practices running on steeper and steeper inclines.

"I have full control over my abilities." Ember starts showing off, calling over one of Rook's best for an extra credit opp. She pitches fire at the student the from size of marbles to exercise balls; some of them explosive. She creates lightning and plays catch with him with it with bolts to start your car or make Thor feel jealous. Then she puts the energy into the ground. She then dismisses the student. Afterwards, Ember shoots every single target on the range, including the rhythmically moving ones. "I spent this morning learning how to make my aura so big, it nearly encompassed the entire slab. But I got a bit of a headache afterwards, so I don't want to do it that big too often."
