Ceffer snarks.

Suddenly the black fuzzy is darting around and under everyone's feet, chasing a very fast mouse.

Tony grabs the mouse (where did that come from) and puts it on the rope above the trapdoor. He then grabs the garlic salt and joins formation. He addresses Ceffer for a last minute change in tactics.

"I think I remember something about sprinkling salt on a vampire's tongue to send it back to where it came from. Maybe these are of that kind?"

Qate laughs.
"Um... I never tried that. Generally they don't stand still long enough for that. Also I think that it is more of a virus than a demonic possession. Finally I already have a way to eliminate them that doesn't count on them charging us with their mouths open. I am going to stick with the tried an true method instead of random mystic voodoo."
Ceffer replies pointing his gun at the door.

Pearl glares at Tony when he takes her fun away, but she rejoins formation with an army of mice, rats, and cockroaches behind her. Behind them are apparitions of B Team; so far they look like cardboard cutouts, but Rook explains that their purpose is to further entertain our guests.

Rook gets an idea. "Why don't we just sneak past them? I can make a fake wall on the tunnel just wide enough for us to slip between it and the real wall. If I lock myself in a closet somewhere, I can even make them think we are in each of the tunnels at once. Then Smith can come get me when everyone else is out."

Ceffer retorts.
"I agree with Illusion man after vampires are gone. We already have intel and you complete your objective."

During this conversation of last moment planning, the muffled argument outside the door has steadily grown louder and more animate, up to loud Thunk!s and Bump!s that have rattled the door in its frame.

Just as Qate finishes agreeing with Rook about our ultimate escape plan, the arguing suddenly drops off and the noises become quiet. Our group tenses, waiting for the lock to break or something and the handle to open, but it doesn't right away. Instead, we hear a scream from a man, and diminishing sounds of him running back down the hall, away from the hub. Half a minute later, our door unlocks from the outside and we hear the low tones of giggling, growling, grumbling, and grinding pointy teeth...

Ceffer barks.
One of the fire balls cuts a circle in the wall while the other explodes the wall. A force field blocks most of the damage with Ceffer's Armor being slightly scorched.

The loudspeaker disrupts thoughts again. "Explosion detected in werecat testing chamber. All personnel evacuate from Tunnel 3."

Ceffer stands there while the two fireballs systematic eliminate the Vampires producing an enormous amount of heat. The AC unit on his suit starts going into overdrive. Qate tries to get as far from the heat as possible.

"I would like to see them get arrested if possible. And unless you have any experience Banishing No way are you permitted to try it in the field."
