Session 4: Attack of the Drones

Pearl is helping replant some wildflowers. "Nothing like a good ol' fight to get the blood pumping, eh?" She covers the seeds with some dirt, and pours some water over them from her gardening pack (like a camelbak with a sprayer instead of a sucker and a seed dispenser on the other side). Pearl waves to Mandy and Jo to let them know the seeds are ready to be grown.

Tony notices Ceffer inspecting the mostly intact mech. Without its pilot, it has gone into standby mode. Its feet are flattened out a little bit and its joints stiffen up. Tony approaches Ceffer.

"You aren't afraid its going to start up again without the guy in it, are you?"

"Not particularly. I must have left my scent when I was scouting. I am more worried about a multi-ton Mech suddenly vanishing again. Don't mind me I just don't want to let it out of my sight for the foreseeable future."
Ceffer says pulling out a sleeping bag and climbing on top of the mech.

Ceffer Remains seated on the top of the mech during transport. Relaxing while looking at the carnage.

I lead my students in leveling out the streets they tore up.
It's tough work, but all in the name of training! Earth-benders bring the streets back to level, try and keep the asphalt on top. Fire-benders work on re-sealing the cracks in the asphalt. Air and water are to cool the streets where the fire benders have finished, and cycle in fresh air to clear out the asphalt vapors. Non-benders are with me on detailing and clean up.

I walk into the the oversized hangar housing the mech that Ceffer has claimed as a campground, biting into a fresh apple.
So... *crunch, chew, chew* anybody know who this guy was?*swallow* Seems like the kinda unstable genius that should be on some government watch list.

"One moment..."

One of the lab's laptops appears in Tony's hands and he starts looking the guy up. He frowns a little, then puts the laptop on the table he has been leaning on.

"I can't seem to readily find anything on him."

Pearl raises an eyebrow at the laptop. "Where did that come from?"

I just ran and got it before the air had a chance to collapse in on itself. It was just over there.

Tony points to a cabinet with a few laptops half way across the room.

Not to be a drag, *crunch, chew, chew, swallow* but how do you do that without catching the atmosphere on fire, or at least causing a sonic boom?
I walk over, looking for signs of excessive friction on the suit or floor.
How fast do you have to go to cause atmospheric capitation?

Ceffer laughs from atop the mech.
"It is part of his power. It bends the air around him and slightly alters the flow of time."
Ceffer air quotes.
"He could probably learn how to create heat and friction that way. He could also probably learn to use Shunpo as well. but he should probably get his body and mind in shape first."
Noticing what the technician is doing.
"Um... Do we have any electropaths or ESPers? Or can we wait until we have taken detailed scans or Dismembered it? Maybe start with the guns instead of the giant mech of doom.  "
Ceffer Slightly nervous asks.

"A few times. Mostly in third world countries. I have some questions does your power work better if you know more about the background of the devise or have looked at things of similar design? Also have you done basic scans or metallurgical analysis?"
Ceffer asks as Dr Wells enters the room.

"How funded him slash who is he working for?"
Ceffer eating fruit salad.
